Create a new depreciation key in AFAMA which should have selected the check box "Dep.to the day" and maintain base method, multi level method and decline balance methods accordingly in the configuration AFAMA. Later you have to assign this key to the asset master. Before that, if your asset has maintained the dep.key which is not on day basis and you have run the depreciation for it, then it wont be possible to change the dep.key. In this case you have to create a new asset with the new dep.key and do transfer posting in ABUMN on specific date. Later you can do inter company transfer for the new asset. (Or)
If you have not run any depreciation for the asset, then you can change the dep.key for the asset. In this case no need to create new asset and also do transfer postings. System wont prompt any error message while changing the dep.key.
