For a custom field which is not available in MARC table, if I uncheck "field only", will extraction logic checks only standard table and return empty field or will it checks both standard table and if the field is not available it go and check for cmod logic and return values for the field?

you mentioned that, The extraction logic always check the CMOD user exit.

My assumption is, for a custom field which is not available in standard table (MARC here). Assume logic is written in cmod for this field.

1.) Uncheck Field Only, extraction logic first check for value in standard table, since the field is not available in standard table, it go and check in cmod logic and populate values.

2.) Check Field Only, extraction logic wouldnot look into standard table and directly checks cmod code and populate values.

In my case, I compared the values of custom field both by uncheck and check field only. Both provides same value for the field without any changes.
